The work
What it involves
Boarding is where a flat finish is won or lost. Walls dot-and-dabbed to block and brick or screw-fixed to stud, ceilings fixed straight to the joists, and beads set true on every corner and window reveal.
We board extensions, loft and garage conversions and new stud partitions, then float or skim over the top so the whole room reads as one surface rather than a set of patches.
